Will You Ever Love a Poor Man

The Farmer and the Rain
------------------------
Great among the many things That the farmer has to yearn Tis the rain, none but the rain. Everyday a prayer, tomorrow_ the wishings Tis the rain, none but the rain. He winks with a grin of spright To his greens laughing a cheer Oh, what if not for the rain! That farmer’s future bright You and I will have a share Oh, what if not for the rain. The labor will bear its gold For the harvest nigh and sure Then adios pal, said the rain. His answer too should be told While we rejoice what they’re for Benevolent friend, next time we meet again. ========================= Me and Myself
------------- I was at the lake early the other day When we came upon a crossroad I said, "we go this way" and Myself said, "this way" I followed Myself towards a hilly, rocky road till we hit another 'equis' road. I lead Myself this time, and what a surprise we were in a Bus Stop. "Board the bus or the next one," i said. "No, take this one," said Myself. "Oh, i forgot my snapper(camera)," and Myself said, "go get it" "Alright," i said, "then we'll get the bus going the other way." At the apartment lobby, we met Garry, the caretaker "Good afternoon" i said while pushing the elevator's up-button. At my front door, i noticed the pretty lady at the suite parallel to mine goading her tiny little kitten to get inside. "Ooops, where's my key," i said to Myself "It's in your bag," said Myself. "Now, where's that !#@%$&* camera... are we still going back? "No," i said, "it's getting dark" "We'll just plan and go back another time then," said Myself. ============================= |
Anonimity
No matter what you say and do to convince me
I am what I am, that’s all I can say I am free as the bird flying in the sky; free as a toad chasing a butterfly, free as a grasshopper nipping the grass as it pass by What else can I say? Freedom to do what you wish to do Is a privilege so many take for granted That they abused it-- and paid for it dearly For every privilege comes responsibility Sit in a far corner of a sidewalk cafe Stare and observe people as they pass by Etching in the free space of your mind The way they dressed and walked Never mind the weird and quaint way they behaved Oh, what a life my friend--only if you see it like I do Savour it while you still can For all of us, there’s an end. ============================= Throw your Loves in the Wind
